3 months??? My my the summer has flown by....

Cordelia went on vacation to Chattanooga TN to see Autumn, Dave and Puppy Lola, saw a HUGE fish tank in Atlanta GA and got to hang with Uncle Joe, Aunt Ute and her newest cousin "Baby Michael" in Enterprise AL. She visited Cory's lake cottage for Independence Day, Holiday World in Santa Claus IN twice, began to pee on the potty, got her first haircut, celebrated her second birthday (3 times!) and moved into a big girls bed!!! All this in 3 short months and now Blogger will let Daddy post videos to show you all!!

During that timeframe, Holly and I got to see her new brother/sister (yes you'll have to wait until December to find out with us) in high def 3D. We've been talking up the new baby and that Cordelia is going to be a "Big Sister" but she's still got a huge shock coming. Cordelia has been a real stinker when Mommy holds other babies. She doesn't seem to care about Daddy, but not her Mommy. My personal favorite was when we asked her to talk to the baby and lifted Holly's shirt. She slapped Holly's stomach, slapped herself and said "Baby, quit hitting!" A truly hilarious moment!

Here's a few shots of the baby. On top is a picture with his/her mouth open, then we have the feet and finally in deep contemplation while scratching his/her head. I find it absolutely amazing what we can see these days with modern technology. I see nothing but a beautiful baby, certainly not a choice.

The dog days of summer saw our vacation. First stop was Chattanooga to spend time with Autumn (Holly's Maid of honor), Dave and Lola (all shown below). Cordy seems to have been quite taken with Dave and talks about Chattanooga and him quite often. I'm sure
he'll be happy to know that the chicks dig him.

From Chat, we drove down I-75 to Atlanta and went to the Georgia Aquarium. This boasts the worlds largest aquarium at 6.4 MILLION gallons of water and 4 Whale Sharks. The main viewing window was 60+ feet wide, 20+ feet high and over 24 inches thick. I was truly awestruck and now consider my 150 gallon tank a toy.

Here's Cordelia going after some ice cream at Smoochies in Enterprise, Alabama just feet away from what is probably the only statue to the Boll Weevil in the world. We don't give it to her often but I'd say by the way that she goes after it that she definitely takes after her father and grandfather.

A parting shot from Joe's house.

Michael is perhaps the happiest baby that I have ever seen. I think I heard him cry once in the 5 days that we spent in Alabama. Holly and I are hoping for one that mellow for our second! Cordelia really loved spending time with "Baby Mickey" as she began calling him after Claudia pronounced it that way. I"m sure fun will be had when Joe, Ute and Michael come to visit at Christmas.

Two year check up at the Doctor's went well. Cordy is 75th percentile for weight and 99th percentile for height. Off the chart that the doctor had!
