Introducing Evangeline

No need to point it out. We're terrible parents. Well, at least we're terrible blogging parents. A mere 13 months after her birth, we're posting about our darling daughter, Evangeline Guerin Eble, AKA "Evie". Our lack of posting is not due less adoration for daughter #2, but less free time in our busy family life. Evie was born December 18, 2007. She has been a joy, and an even easier baby than Cordelia was, in that she (for the most part) has only cried when hungry or tired. Now, crying is mostly due to teething, or missing her pacifier at night.
Cordelia is a good big sister, and they now are playing together quite a bit, which is fun to see. They are now sharing a bedroom, which has been an adjustment to say the least.

Evie is walking, eats only table foods and no longer takes a bottle, has a small vocabulary, loves to laugh, plays with dolls, enjoys books, is experimenting with dancing, and is a dental hygiene fanatic!

She can identify her major facial features, so we've moved on to learning how to make animal sounds.

And now we're on the eve of Baby #3 arriving! Yes. That was not a typo. We're expecting our next child by February 17. Much like Evie, Mommy's body is getting ready early: 2 cm dialated and 50% effaced last week; another doc appointment today. Stay tuned.
