Giggles

Cordelia is a constant source of joy for us. Here she is playing with Daddy after a major diaper blowout, which seems to be a far-too-common occurrence these days.

She sits up well when supported. I think she'll be sitting all by herself in no time. We're also going to have to baby-proof the house soon; her days of relative immobility are coming to an end.

Cordelia has really been discovering her voice lately. She loves to yell to get attention, and also likes to blow raspberries and make spit. This is all very charming, especially in church!

She really does not have much hair; although most photos make her look like she has more hair than actuality.

Next Thursday, she will be 7 months old! WOW!

6 months old!

Hello there all. Our apologies for taking so long between posts. We know the public is clamoring for more pics of our little girl! She's really been enjoying her feet as of late. Holding them, eating them, whatever. To paraphrase Wile E. Coyote...."Cordelia L. Eble ...SUUUPER GENIUS."

Cordelia spent early February with a wheezing cough and an ear infection. The ear infection took us by surprise as she didn't fuss about it at all. We were given a nebulizer from the pediatrician and after a week or so of the breathing treatments and an antibiotic, she's back to prime health!

This coming Monday will be her 6 month birthday and she's doing fabulous now. A visit to the doctor yesterday put her in the 50th percentile for weight (15.25lbs) and 75th for height (26in).

She's really taking to solid foods quite well. Thus far her diet has included: rice cereal, butter nut squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, peas and bananas. It took a while to get used to the peas but she finally picked it up. A few more fruits and then we'll get into meats.

Cordelia's motor skills are increasing as well. She sits well when assisted, and when she is on her belly, she sometimes tries to swim and get somewhere.

Apparently, Cordelia's popularity is soaring, as her blog is on some folk's list of favorite websites. Cordelia wants to give a shout out to Jules in C-bus!
